On the Classic and Vintage Cars site we use the following definition on 'classic car': A car is a wheeled vehicle used for transporting passengers, which also carries its own engine or motor.
Only cars of which production ended more than 25 years ago are considered 'classic' on this site (so all excluding the modern era).
For example: Ford Escort Mark II is a classic (production ended 1980), Mark III won't qualify until 2011 as production continued until 1986.

the latest pictures or the latest comments or upload your
photos. See the thumbnails on the right for the latest pictures or
other relevant classic cars!
Use the menu at the top to 'drill down' and
browse by category (like Antique and Veteran), manufacturer, country, year, specific group and contributor. There is a search facility at the top right.
Tip: Use the
Additions option in the topmenu to see all the changes since your last visit or
to see all the photos and comments of the last couple of days!
Leave your comments at the foot of the photo page (do add your name please).
There are
