CJY 348C 1965 Ford Cortina Mark 1.
Introduced in 1962 as the replacement for the expensive to build and heavy Ford Consul Classic.
Initially came with a 1200cc motor but that was quickly upped to 1500cc, much nippier.
Then, of course, came the GT, an estate car and the legendary Lotus version.
The series 2 Mark 1 in 1964 had the "eye-ball" vents - the first cockpit ventilation on a British Ford and out went quarter lights...
