Marcel you're absolutely right with the Vanden Plas Princess 1100/1300. The Vanden Plas Princess was not an Austin or a Morris comparison. The vanden Plas had a different grill and a wholly different an much nicer interior. This is clearly indicated by the traditional V-P stand-up vertical bar grill, by the walnut veneer dash and leather upholstery. The 1963-1975 Vanden Plas Princess 100/1300 series was extremely successful in Britain, but it bombed in the USA.

1300 4 cyl, 1275cc, 65hp, produced 1968-1975

Hi Louis, Just thought I point out that, according to the dates you supplied i.e. 1100 was produced from '63-'67, and 1300 was produced from '68-'75. So that would make this picture is of a 1300 model as it has a 1972 registration plate
