I've been lucky, I've seen three of these in as many months, the last one yesterday 29.9.09.

Date of First Registration: 07/03/1969. 6.3 litre V8 engine Grand Tourer. This suggests it is a Mark I but I've seen forum entries elsewhere identifying it as a Mark III...

Used to be one here in Holyhead, always M.O.T'd and insured but was never kept on the road, not seen it for years.

It's an FF, not an Interceptor.

Def a MK I, not a III. The bumpers with the bullet shaped over-riders (rather than square), the front indicators above the bumper and the twin cowls for the rev counter and speedometer are MKI features. Also, the MKIII didn't come out until late of 1971.

Observant, I'd not noticed.

Jenson Interceptor,FF (Ferguson Formula) version,1966-1971,The FF can be identified from other Intercepters,by its twin air intakes behind the front wheels,and its slightly longer wheelbase and the FF only came with a glass opening hatch.
Engine:7212cc V8 cylinder
Power:385 bhp

Your data is wrong I'm afraid James. The FF is not an Interceptor. It's full model name is simply "FF".

The FF had the 6276cc engine (383), not the 7212 (440).

Production was a mere 320 cars.

Actually the one in the pic is on this thread, it's a stunning car;

Thanks for keeping this going, first FF I'd seen.
All the best, Andrew.

Yes your details are correct for the Jenson FF,the reference book ,i am using ,has stated Jenson Interceptor 1966-1976,and briefly mentioned the FF,and then details finally the Jenson Interceptor SP,the last reference book in front of me, now shows 4,variants of the Interceptor,it shows how each reference book,relates the facts about the vehicle
