Vauxhall Firenza 1976.

The Vauxhall Firenza was a sporty version on the Vauxhall Viva, the main difference (apart from the engine) was that this was a two door coupé. They were fairly unusual at the time, and this one is seen at the Kirkleatham Hall Rally near Redcar in Cleveland c1998.

I like the design of the Firenza, reminds me a bit of the Ford Escort (Mark I and II)...
Nice series of Pics, Chris... have you got any interior shots of too?

Sorry Marcel, I only have exterior 'record' type shots. I've never had much luck taking interior views of any vehicle.

The first car I ever bought as new was a Viva in that gold colour, it cost almost exactly £1000 and I ran it until it fell to bits (corrosion) many years later! That shows how old I am!

We had a Vauxhall Viva Estate (DXG201K) between 1972 and 1975, when it was replaced with a Vauxhall Victor VX Estate (GEF545N), Both were great cars.
