Wolsey (JNL699) Billingham 1982.

The nineteen eighties could and did throw up the odd suprises every now and again! This lovely Wolsey (440?) was in regular use in 1982. We hadn't all been converted to Ford Sierras yet!

This car is indeed a Wolseley 4/44 introduced in 1953 and produced till 1956. The engine was a 1250 cc M.G. Y-type.
He also had an independent front suspension and a monocoque chassis.
